Pizza!

I've had my students make pizzas out of construction paper and magazine scraps, but never out of Legos. In fact, it would be interesting to see what kind of pie they could build. Or any other food, for that matter!

What will you do today? Travel to the zoo and learn about the different sounds zoo animals make. This adorable story will teach young, early learners and adults alike, enriching their vocabularies.

About Tina Glasneck:

I’ve been published and writing stories for adults since 2012, and my DD has had the opportunity to join me at events and see mommy-the-author in action. One day, she asked for a book just for her. I couldn’t say no.

What Do You Do Zoo Keeper Blue? is a story I used to tell her at story time. It always made her laugh, almost chortle when we made the animal sounds.  A story time filled with learning, laughter and love, well, that is what has encouraged my DD to embrace books too.

For months we worked on What Do You Do Zoo Keeper Blue? and with each draft she’d encourage me. I tweaked and tweaked until it had the right balance. The story took shape, and I created the zoo keeper with her in mind.  When I finally revealed it to her, her face lit up. “It’s wonderful, mommy,” she said. This mother couldn’t have been happier.

I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed the process of creating it. Learn more through my mommy and me focused blog: http://www.TinaGlasneck.wordpress.com
