Science Gif - Bending Water With Static Electricity
Sometimes you don't need to show a whole video to instigate a science experiment. Sometimes a brief gif will work.
(Note: If blogger freezes the gif, here's what is happening. Rub the balloon briskly with the towel. Then hold the balloon close to the stream of water. The water will bend toward the balloon!)

Quick and Easy Science Lesson - Static Electricity
All it took was a simple balloon. I rubbed it on one child's head (make sure child has fine, longish hair so that it'll stand up.) I left the balloon out for the kids to play with during center time, and almost every child in class took turns standing in the mirror and doing the trick!
