"Stairway to Adventure"
Another friend of mine has done this for her grandchildren. She bought several of her favorite children's books and placed them on the stairs. When they come to visit or spend the night, they get to pick which one she'll read to them. She calls this her "Stairway to Adventure"
This is also a terrific idea for moms and dads to instill the love of books in their children growing up.
