"When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors"

I was watching the local news, and the weatherman quoted this saying: When thunder roars, go indoors.

He then went on to explain that many times people think that just because they don't see lightning, that it's safe to go outside. But that's not always true. If they hear thunder, they must understand that lightning will follow somewhere.

I think teaching all children should be taught this little quote. You never know - it might save a life one day.
