1. This is a comparison photo of the difference between the end of a needle and a bee's stinger, as seen under a microscope. What is the first thing you notice?
2. (Teacher, please present the end of a needle or straight pin for real-size comparison.) Which one do you think would hurt more - the bee stinger or the needle? Why?
