Another Use For Cardboard Boxes
Have everyone bring at least one cardboard box from home. Yes, they can bring more (for those who might night be able to bring one.) Have them cut out shapes, glue, and then color/paint. You can call them Mardi Gras masks.

Cloud Spotter
I remember doing something similar to this with my Kinder classes. It doesn't have to be this elaborate, but it makes a great science activity where you can get out of the classroom for a few minutes, especially if you don't have windows.
