That was mentioned to me earlier. You're right. The wide part is facing the wrong way. Mea culpa! But my original suggestion was to do something similar using smaller numerical values, of course, with the Kinders.
I do when I know who the creator is. This was presented by another teacher, who got it from someone else, and so on. If the person who thought this up comes forth and lets me know they had the idea, I will be more than happy to put their name on it. :)
