Back2School: How music can improve preschooler's behavior, school readiness
As a former music teacher, I can attest to the fact that singing songs, playing music games, and playing musical instruments is extremely beneficial to a Pre-Kinder and Kindergartner's development.
Even if it's something as simple as singing along and just clapping their hands, or letting them freestyle dance for a couple of minutes, it has a profound effect.
Any time you feel both you and your students need a quick break, pull out a song!
